SOMEONE FOUND LELI, BUT HAD NOT RETURNED HER TO HER OWNER.

Sarah and her boyfriend went out for dinner and left her Wheaton Terrier Leli in their fenced yard. When they returned, Leli was gone. Sarah could not figure out how Leli escaped in spite of the shut gate but, more important was how to find Leli. Sarah contacted me in the hope I could give her some clues to Leli's location.

When I communicated with Leli, she shared that a slender man who was about 5'8" tall and about 40 years old had found Leli. They traveled about two blocks from the front of her home, but did not cross any busy streets.

Then they arrived at a group of modest- looking grayish-beige town homes and went inside one of the town houses.

A woman and toddler were inside. Leli could hear people in other nearby residences. She had not been outside since they arrived.

It was not clear to Leli if the man was planning to keep her.

I asked Sarah if there were any modest-looking townhouses about two blocks from her home. Sarah replied there were. I suggested that perhaps a cash reward would motivate the man to come forward. Sarah posted several handouts with Leli's picture, offering a $200 cash reward, on the doorways of the townhouses two blocks from her home. Within 2 hours a man who was about 5'8" and slender showed up with his wife and toddler at Sarah's door -- with Leli.

Sarah of Seattle, Washington writes:

"I would not have known where to put those lost posters without you. Thanks!"
