THE CAT WHO ESCAPED FROM THE VET'S OFFICE

LS contacted me when her lovely new kitten, Tuxedo, had escaped after a trip to his vet to be neutered. Tuxedo had jumped from his cat carrier in the veterinary office's back parking lot and fled into the bushes. Several days of searching for Tuxedo had turned up nothing. LS did not know where else to look so she contacted me.

Tuxedo told me he had run until he saw a empty white van or RV, had turned to his right and had then run about twenty feet. He told me he was hiding in a hole and was afraid to come out.

LS knew exactly where the white van was located as she had seen an auto dealership not far away.

LS went straight to the auto dealership and found Tuxedo hiding 20 feet away to the right of a white RV. He came running to LS when she held out an open can of tuna fish.

LS of Roy, Utah writes:

"It was uncanny. Tuxedo was precisely where you said he might be. I went to the white RV and walked about 20 feet both ways as we did knot now which way was Tuxedo's right. There was a hidden dirt trail that had blocks of concrete on it. I began to call softly. Not more than 10 seconds passed and he came out from behind a tree in the middle of some very tall grass that had a black bucket in it. This is where I presume he had been hiding.

Tuxedo ate the entire can of tuna I had brought as a lure!

I owe you many, many thanks!"
