ITALIAN LOST CAT FOUND AFTER 18 MONTHS!

Jan and Findlay live in a rural area of Italy. Their beloved cat Tommy loved to surprise them by jumping from his favorite resting place on their bureau onto their shoulders. One day, Tommy disappeared. Even after eighteen months of searching for Tommy, Jan was not ready to give up. Instead, Jan called me.

I explained that the chances of finding Tommy after such a long time were slim, but I would try. I knew there was a possibility that Tommy could have forgotten his name or not remember Jan and Findlay.

When I communicated with Tommy he let me know he was

as fine and that, even better, a woman was feeding him. Tommy explained that he was sleeping underneath an older, small white car or van at night. The car was parked in a tan, rectangular garage.

The car was parked next to a large tan home. Although there were a few homes nearby, it was clearly a rural area.

Tommy showed me that the home had a very distinctive, large doorway composed of decorative white squares stacked on top of one another that stood out even at a distance.

After all this time, Tommy was not sure how far he was from Jan and Findlay's home, but he believed it was not more than three miles.

Jan and Findlay set out with my description and found the home pictured above. They approached the owners, who admitted they had been feeding Tommy, but had thought he was a stray.

With thanks to the people who fed Tommy, Jan scooped Tommy up and took him home. As you can see from the photo, Tommy is back on his old perch - after eighteen months!! Jan's smiling face says it all, her perseverance paid off.

Dog Trapped in Swamp Rescued by Helicopter!

This dog's dramatic police rescue and how Hilary's psychic abilities helped locate him were featured in the New Jersey's "The Record" newspaper on December 4, 2008.

Foster the Pointer disappeared while on a walk in an 800 acre park. Five days later he was still missing. His owner Nicole Schenke was exhausted from trying to search such a vast area. Worse yet, Nicole did not even know if Foster was still in the park. He might have made it out to the surrounding neighborhoods and, in that case, all of Nicole’s legwork would have been in vain. Nicole wanted a clue to decide whether to keep searching in the park or out. That is when Nicole contacted me.

Foster shared with me he was trapped, it was wet around him, and there were some old tires and pallets that looked like they had been illegally dumped. Foster had not made it out of the park to the surrounding neighborhoods and he wanted to find Nicole as much as she wanted to find him.

Based on my description, Nicole's two friends Sue and Deidre began looking for pallets and tires near wet areas. They found the tires and pallets. Not far away, Foster was trapped in the middle of a swamp. Both women tried to wade in to save him, but became stuck themselves. Authorities were contacted and police with helicopters were able to airlift all three to safety.

Nicole Schenke of New Jersey writes:

He had been outside stuck in a swamp in the cold for eight days with no shelter or food. If he had been out there for one more day we are convinced he would not have made it. A VACATION ALMOST RUINED

A VACATION ALMOST RUINED

SV's parents had left her in charge of their Papillion dog, McKensy, right before they left for their Hawaiian vacation. Unfortunately, McKensy disappeared as soon as SV let her out for a potty break. SV found a hole in her fence and realized that McKensy must have wiggled through it.

When I contacted McKensy she let me know that she was out searching for SV's parents. She had trotted off to her right and gone about 1/2 mile away until she became too cold because of the bad weather. McKensy found an open garage door and jumped inside an car where she was keeping warm.

SV could not find any open garages at that point, but she left fliers with McKensy's photo and her phone number in mail boxes in that area. Two days later a man called to let SV know that he had found McKensy. She was sleeping in his car and hungry.

Thankfully, SV's parents were able to enjoy their Hawaiian vacation after all! As you can see from the photo, McKensy has recuperated and is her stubborn but adorable self.
