Scared dog in Antioch, California coaxed home with familiar scent markers

Tina of Antioch, California contacted me because her dog Pika had disappeared from her home. Tina losing hope of finding him. Pika had last been sighted running along a nearby street but that was three days prior.

When I communicated with Pika, he showed me that he was by a nearby apartment complex with a pool that had a shaded area with damp ground and low head clearance. Pika had been eating out of a nearby garbage can. There was an open area nearby with hills and trees. Pika shared that unfortunately, he had not heard Tina’s voice, but that he was a survivor and wanted to be found.

When I shared this with Tina, she was upset because she knew the apartment complex with the pool and the hills behind it, but had not been able to get inside the gated apartment area.

Tina managed to get in the complex that evening. She left some tiny pieces of her clothes as scent marker for Pika.

Tina reported that Pika came home the next day!

“I can't believe my own eyes, he is here! I am so happy. I woke up at 5 in the morning from my other dog barking and I heard crying. I opened up the front door and called his name and didn't hear/see anything. I went back to bed about to sleep then I heard the crying again. This time I opened the door and he ran inside. His fur is black underneath from dirt. It does look like he was hiding in a damp place with a lot of dirt. Maybe he heard me calling last night and followed the trail home I don’t know but I'm just soooo happy he is back. Thank you! This is like a dream come true. My whole family is playing with him right now.”

Cat coaxed out of hiding in Providence, Rhode Island

Helary of Providence, Rhode Island contacted me because her cat Leonardo DiCatrio had gone missing while Helary was on vacation and Leonardo DiCatrio was staying at Helary’s uncle’s home. Leonardo DiCatrio had somehow snuck outside unnoticed. Because of the rural area of her uncle’s property, Helary feared for Leonardo’s safety with coyotes and other predators.

I feared the worst too. When I communicated with Leonardo, he shared that he was alive, but, hiding and too scared to approach strangers. He remembered traveling past a white home, seeing some plastic tarp and a wooden sign sticking out of the ground.

Helary was able to find the home and the sign; however it took some time to coax Leonardo out of hiding. Even though Leonardo was a normally people-friendly cat, his fear- based survival instincts had kicked in. Helary had to return to the area several times before she was able to get Leonardo to come forward.

Missing English Bulldog's Body Found in West Seneca, New York

Mary Ellen of West Seneca, New York contacted me when her English Bulldog Edgar Don had been missing for three days. Mary Ellen mentioned that Edgar Don had neurological issues and some symptoms of dementia. A search party had found no sight of Edgar Don and Mary Ellen was concerned for Edgar Don’s health.

When I communicated with Edgar Don he showed me that he was about two blocks from Mary Ellen’s home, next to a door of a gray home with a porch that was similar to the porch of Mary Ellen’s home and there was a blanket nearby. Edgar Don showed me he wanted to go inside, but he could go no further because he had a problem with his leg.

Mary Ellen called me back to know that they had found Edgar Don next to a gray home with a porch similar to the porch attached to Mary Ellen’s home. Edgar Don had a broken leg. Unfortunately, Edgar Don had crossed over into the spirit world. Mary Ellen had not thought Edgar would have been able to travel so far given his neurological condition so she had not looked as carefully two blocks from her home.
